Are you trying to fix the wrong problem?

Hi Reader,

Did you take antibiotics a lot as a kid? Or maybe even more recently? If that's you, let's dive into this.

Back in 2016, I took a round of antibiotics. Nothing special. But shortly thereafter, the story of my itchy vagina started. Boo.

I spent years going to doctors. Trying out a surgery. Taking all of the probiotics. Allll of the boric acid. And I was flip flopping between giving up hope and firey inspiration to get to the bottom of it all.

I assumed that this was a hormone problem, so I was only focusing on my hormones.

And it wasn't until 2023 that I realized the antibiotics were causing all of my "hormone" problems.

Here's what happened: antibiotics don't decide which bacteria is "good" and which is "bad." it says ciao to all of it. And that's not great because there are a LOT of good bacteria in your gut. We need them. We want them. We loooovveee them.

Let me tell you about one of my clients:

This gal came to me with unpredictable, all-over-the-place periods. Instead of immediately layering in supplements to support ovulation, we ran a gut test. It showed overgrowth of certain bacteria which allowed us to get super clear on how to eradicate the overgrowth.

And you know what?

Once we did that, her cycles got shorter and closer to ideal range.

Plot twist: she had to take a round of antibiotics shortly thereafter. And her cycles got longer too.

So we did another gut protocol.

And her cycles responded again by coming back into an ideal range. :)

Hit "reply" and let me know if this helped to connect any dots for you. I read every response.

Cheers,
Bridget

P.S. The result from the poll in my last email? All of you requested a workshop on gut health + fertility. I'm thinking we'll schedule it for Wednesday, October 22nd at 11am PT. Would that work for you?
