Topic: the most important ingredient
Reading time: 51 seconds
Hi Reader,
What inspires you? What gives you hope?
For me, I think of the amazing, talented women in my life who I'm so grateful to call friends. I think of the transformations that I see my clients go through in support of their digestion and hormones.
I think of all of the the things that I never thought I'd be able to do, yet I've done them.
I was talking about this with the gals in my networking group this morning. This topic of: what are you doing now that you never dreamed you'd be doing or have accomplished?
What is it that really lights you up and keeps you going?
The cup of coffee that comforts you through your morning routine. Your partner. The family that you are planning for and want to nourish. Maybe it's something in your career that truly inspires you to keep putting your blood, sweat, and tears into what you're passionate about.
For me, it was hard at times to feel inspired about my own health journey. I felt like "this is just the way I'll always be." Or, "there's nothing I can do--I can't quit my job, so being on the move is just my lifestyle now. Busy and stressed."
I want to re-ignite that flame of inspiration in you.
Take a moment to close your eyes and think on whatever it is that lights you up and inspires you.
Really feel it. Feel it in your chest, arms, legs, stomach, and in your head.
Now hold onto that feeling and shift it onto whatever you're working on with your hormones and gut health.
I want you to know that there is absolutely something for you to be hopeful for. But it's not enough for me to just tell you that; you need to feel it for yourself.
Know that there are women who have struggled to manage their periods, their bloating, their fertility. And they've gotten through it. And you can too.
Whether your goal is to have more energy. To have a baby. To have another baby. Or just to feel like yourself again... you can do it.
I feel you -- truly, I do. You've already tried working with your doctor, your OB/GYN, your acupuncturist, with another practitioner. It's frustrating when you feel like you're not getting any answers.
And yet...
This inspiration and this hope -- this is the most important ingredient for your success. If you don't believe in yourself then that will surely be an obstacle that keeps you from reaching your goal.

Take a beat to reflect on all of the things that you've accomplished in your life that you never thought would've been possible. You've done so much already, and you can also do what it takes to support your hormones.
I believe in you. You've got this. 🫶
I'd love to hear what's inspiring you to dial in your health right now. If you're up for it, hit "reply" and let me know what you're thinking about.
Not my usual newsletter for you today, but sometimes what you really need is something that cannot be summed up in a few short bullet points or recommendations.
That's all for today. As always, you can listen to I'm Hormonal in Spotify or Apple Podcasts, or find it wherever you like to get your pods.
xo,
Bridget
